Awards season is here! Even though your plans probably
involve spending the soiree snuggling on the sofa rather
than slinking down a red carpet, make your stay-at-home
evening special with a menu you can prepare together,
then enjoy in front of the tube.
Start by assembling the Deep-Dish Rutabaga-Fennel Gratin
and pop it into the oven. Then divide and conquer: while one
of you steams the veggies and greens, the other can poach
the dried cherries for dessert. Toss the salad, warm up the
steamed greens, and that's it! All that's left to do is to carry
your creations to the couch and grab the remote.
