Happy Birthday

Wow the PB&J crowd with a kid-friendly, gluten-free feast

BY Carrie Purcell
PHOTOGRAPHY Purcell & Gotch

For families with gluten-sensitive kids, putting together a birthday party can feel like a pretty big task. While we can't help you decide whether to hold the festivities indoors or out, we can help take the guesswork out of the menu. Popcorn and "fried" tofu shapes make healthful finger food, while a fruit-and-veggie salad gets some green into the mix. Cap it all off with a triple-layer cake, and everyone's birthday wishes (kids and adults alike) will come true.
