This is to die for! I made it without the miso and not missing it at all...the rest of the ingredients are PERFECT together. I have a chipotle chili pepper spice addiction, so this is another great find. I'll be making this recipe over and over!

I'm new to all this; what is white miso paste? Can anything be substituted?

White miso paste is a soy product, should be found in a small tub in the healthy food section of the supermarket. near the tofu and veggie cheese.

This is a very nutritious and tasty soup. The chipotle powder is lovely. I think that a home cook could safely substitute another vegetable topping like alfalfa or cucumbers.

Beautiful colors, and flavorful. The rosemary is perfect. This is a restaurant-quality soup! Vegan, gluten free, and raw -- wonderful use of our earth's gifts!
