Carrot-Orange Smoothie

30 minutes or fewer
- 1 ½ cups carrot juice
- 1 orange, peeled and quartered
- 2 Tbs. ground flaxseed
- 1 Tbs. raw honey or agave nectar
- ½ tsp. ground allspice

Place all ingredients in blender in order listed, along with 4 ice cubes. Blend 45 seconds, or until smooth.

I made this yesterday without knowing this recipe was here. Couple of things I did differently though. I use a nutribalst so eveything gets pulverized. I added about 6/7 baby carrots,2 peeled mandarins (whole) , one whole peeled kiwi, a handful of spinich ...instead of allspice I added about 3 cilantro sprigs, a teaspoon of goji berries, a teaspoon of maca, a teaspoon of agave, and 1/2 cup of water.... blitzed it up.... delicious!
