- ¾ cup vanilla soy milk, chilled
- 2 Tbs. frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
- ½ banana, sliced and frozen

In blender, combine chai, soy milk, apple juice concentrate and banana. Blend until smooth and creamy. Serve right away.

Agreed, the 'chai' sold in the US is hyper-sweetened. Chai actually means tea in Hindi. What we call 'chai' is chai masala. A black tea is brewed with a spice mixture and hot milk. In India I bought the powdered spice mix, but it can be made easily at home. It is best to brew your own tea, add some chai masala spices and then sweeten and add milk to your taste. The packaged chai in the US is not healthy.
