Chocolate Sauce

Makes 1 1/2 Cups

30 minutes or fewer

In medium saucepan, whisk together brown sugar, cocoa and cornstarch. Gradually mix in milk until well blended. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 1 minute.   • 3⁄4 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1⁄2 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
  • 4 tsp. cornstarch
  • 3⁄4 cup skim milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  1. In medium saucepan, whisk together brown sugar, cocoa and cornstarch. Gradually mix in milk until well blended. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla.
