- ¼ cup whole cumin seeds
- 1 ½-inch piece cinnamon stick
- 2 Tbs. whole coriander seeds
- 1 Tbs. green cardamom pods
- ½ tsp. black peppercorns
- ½ tsp. red pepper flakes
- ½ tsp. whole cloves
