Rich Chocolate Fondue

A combination of dark and milk chocolates yields a particularly luscious fondue. Vary the recipe by using amaretto, Kahlúa, or another after-dinner liqueur instead of cherry-flavored Kirsch.

1 ½ cups nonfat milk

¼ cup natural cocoa powder

12 oz. chopped dark chocolate or dark chocolate chips

8 oz. chopped milk chocolate or milk chocolate chips

1 Tbs. Kirsch brandy

3 cups biscotti pieces

3 cups clementine segments and/or candied fruit strips

Instructions: 

Whisk together milk and cocoa powder in large saucepan or stove-top fondue pot, and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Add dark and milk chocolates, and heat 3 minutes, or until chocolate has melted. Stir in Kirsch, and transfer to fondue pot, if necessary. Serve with Dippers.
