Wheat Beer and Potato Rolls
Makes 24 rolls
Instead of 24 rolls, you can also make 12 rolls and one loaf of bread.
- 1 large baking potato, peeled and cut into ½-inch cubes
- 1 cup whole milk, warmed
- 2 0.25-oz. pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 ¼ cups wheat beer, room temperature
- ¼ cup (4 Tbs.) butter, melted
- 1 Tbs. salt
- 6 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 to 2 Tbs. vegetable oil
