Try this zesty dressing in mixed green salads, bean or grain salads or drizzled over vegetables. A glass canning jar marked in 1-ounce increments is handy for measuring the ingredients (1 ounce equals 2 tablespoons). Refrigerate leftovers and bring to room temperature before using.
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbs. coarse-grained mustard
- 1 Tbs. pure maple syrup or 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. dried basil
In glass jar with tight-fitting lid, combine all ingredients. Secure lid and shake well.
