Fresh Spinach and Almond Smoothie

Peel whole bananas, and freeze in resealable plastic bags. When you’re ready to make a smoothie, you can break one into chunks.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1 medium frozen banana, broken into pieces
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 Tbs. raw almonds or
  • 1 Tbs. almond butter
  • 1 tsp. agave nectar (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract

Preparation

Place all ingredients in blender, and blend until smooth.
