Minted Yogurt Drink (Ayran)


Yogurt beverages are enjoyed everywhere in Turkey–on street corners, in bars or at home. They are extremely refreshing and this version is a great choice to serve with our menu.

  • 3 cups plain yogurt
  • 3 cups water or to taste
  • 3 to 4 Tbs. chopped fresh mint


1. In blender, combine all ingredients and process until smooth. Pour into a large pitcher and chill for at least 1 hour. Serve in tall glasses with ice.
