Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. sweet smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. ground chipotle powder cup raw almonds

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine oil, brown sugar, paprika, and chipotle powder in medium bowl. Add almonds, and toss to coat with spice mixture. Transfer to prepared baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes, or until lightly toasted and fragrant. Season with salt, if desired. Cool. Pulse mixture in food processor several times, or until coarsely chopped.
