A refreshing summer cooler, this icy drink is so versatile that you can enhance it with many different fruits, including bananas, strawberries and kiwi, adding mint leaves as a final flourish. For a less potent drink, dilute the wine with sparkling water.
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 apple, sliced
- 1 to 2 bottles Bonterra Chardonnay or other white wine
Place sliced lemon, orange and apple in large pitcher and pour wine over top. Stir in sugar to taste, and add plenty of ice cubes. Let chill at least 10 minutes, preferably 30, before serving.
