Vegetarian Times has collected submissions from the culinary stars of 2010—up-and-coming chefs graduating from an accredited cooking school this year who used their talent, skills, and culinary training to create delicious vegetarian recipes. The 2010 call for entries is now closed.
Be sure to vote online for the finalist recipes from June 30, 2010 through July 30, 2010. Winners will be featured in the January 2011 issue of Vegetarian Times.
The Online Voting Process
Vegetarian Times editors and judges will choose 15 recipe finalists (three in each category). These finalist recipes will be posted on the Vegetarian Times web site for readers to make, taste and vote on. Online voting is open from June 30, 2010 through July 30, 2010.
Prizes
The five winning recipes (one for each category) will be featured in the January 2011 issue of Vegetarian Times, along with profiles of the students/chefs who created them. The creators of the five winning recipes will each win $300 cash, a $100 American Express gift card, and other prizes supplied by our sponsor.
Judging
Readers and editors of Vegetarian Times will choose the winning recipes. Fifteen finalist recipes will be selected by Vegetarian Times editors and posted on vegetariantimes.com so that readers can make them at home and vote for their favorites. Winners will be notified in August, 2010.
