Patagonia now offers a selection camping food, including organic breakfast grains, which are a great fit for Vegetarian Times readers and created with an eye towards regenerative farming. They offer three flavors: Red Raspberry, Creamy Banana, and Tart Apple.
Each pouch provides 7-8 grams of protein through a mix of organic buckwheat, organic cracked barley, and organic oats.

Organic Red Raspberry Breakfast Grains
The breakfast grains are unsweetened, a rarity among pre-packaged camping meals. Honey might be a pain to pack in your gear, but yogurt might round out the tart raspberry in this hot breakfast.
Organic Creamy Banana Breakfast Grains
I was a little skeptical about the banana flavor before testing this out, but it’s well balanced and still allows the flavors of the grains to come through. Again, this multigrain cereal was unsweetened, so I added plant butter and a drizzle of maple syrup, which really was the magic combo—I loved this flavor on a cold morning.
