We’re awash in new skincare and beauty lines backed by celebrities lately – and many of them are tapping into consumer demand for cruelty-free and vegan formulations and commitments to environmentally-sustainable practices. And yet, even in a crowded field, Pleasing, a new Harry Styles nail polish and skincare line, stands out. Much like its fashion icon founder, the brand is chic, gender-inclusive, and just looks so dang pretty.

Pleasing, which went on sale today, offers a small collection – at least for now – of two skincare products, an eye and lip treatment pen (the first product on the site to sell out for U.S. shoppers) and a luminizing serum-primer. Both look great, but the nail polish is what caught our eyes in particular.

Harry Styles is known for his nail looks, so it makes sense he would prioritize getting the lacquer line just right. The grouping includes four sophisticated neutrals in pearlescent finishes, in recycled material bottles that look like mid-century modern art sculptures. (Oh, and if you’re worried the sphere toppers might be a pain to use, they do pop off for painting.) Catch us carefully arranging these for our next #shelfie pic.

And while the looks are impeccable, it’s what’s inside that counts. Pleasing is pleasing us there too. The nail polish formulations are ’12-free’ – the closest to ‘non-toxic’ as commercial nail polishes get – and use plant-based solvents. All of the products are vegan and cruelty-free; the lip pen product is also gluten-free. The brand provides complete ingredient lists for each product prominently on the website for shoppers to review, which is always a nice touch.
