Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced (2 Tbs.)
  • 1 28-oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 2 Tbs. rice wine vinegar or 2 tsp. white vinegar
  • 1 Tbs. turbinado sugar
  • 2 tsp. low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Preparation

Heat oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic, and sauté 1 minute. Stir in remaining ingredients, cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer 30 minutes.
