Pineapple-Lime Smoothie

This smoothie promotes a healthy immune and digestive system. The mixture of ginger, mint, chia and pineapple give a nice flavor to a natural energy drink.

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
  • 2 Tbs. mint leaves
  • 2 tsp. lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp. grated fresh ginger
  • 6 oz. non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbs. chia seeds
  • 2 tsp. honey (optional)


1. Purée pineapple chunks with mint leaves, lime juice, and ginger in blender until mint is finely chopped. 

2. Add Greek yogurt, and blend until smooth. Stir in chia seeds and honey (if using). Let stand 5 minutes to thicken.
