What qualifies a recipe as a weeknight pasta for you? For us, it’s generally one that can be completed with minimal effort, a short prep time, and, whenever possible, composed out of stuff we’re likely to already have on hand in our pantry or fridge. While that leaves a lot of options, there are certainly some it rules out, namely those that require any complicated sauces or long simmers on the stove. Love them, but maybe better for the weekend. Plus, since it’s summer, we’re not really up for turning on the oven for baked pastas and lasagnas.
