Avoiding gluten, be it due to medical requirement or personal preference, can be tough – and perhaps doubly so if you’re already a vegetarian or vegan. But especially among those who opt for a plant-based diet out of health concerns, also going gluten-free is increasingly popular. Since September 13 marks Celiac Awareness Day in honor of the birth of the British doctor who first identified celiac disease back in 1888, we thought it a good time to assemble a list of some of our favorite gluten-free recipes from our archives. This is by no means an exhaustive list, of course. Many recipes are naturally gluten-free, so consider this simply a sampler platter to get you started.
